2014 Azimut 48

The Azimut 48 is a flybridge motor yacht built on a composite hull and powered by twin Cummins diesel engines rated at 600 hp each. The boat reaches a top speed of 31 knots and cruises comfortably at 25 knots. Control is handled via joystick throughout, and trim tabs aid stability in various sea conditions.

The extended flybridge features a large aft seating area with an offset helm position, well above the main deck activity. Below, the main saloon includes a U-shaped sofa that converts to a double bed, with the dinette positioned forward on the port side. A lower helm station sits opposite the dinette. Forward on the main deck, a sunbathing area accommodates two people. The cockpit features a four-person divan with storage access beneath, and a teak finish adds visual warmth. Large panoramic windows and a porthole bring natural light throughout the interior spaces.

Accommodation consists of three twin-bed cabins below decks with three heads, each featuring a separate shower. The galley is fully equipped with wood flooring, a microwave, dishwasher, and pantry storage. A hydraulic swim platform at the stern can support a tender or water toy, while a starboard side boarding door provides convenient access.

Navigation and entertainment systems include dual Raymarine Hybrid Touch displays at the lower helm, a Raymarine Hybrid Touch E140W at the flybridge helm, radar, and depth sounder. Additional equipment encompasses a Kohler 15-kilowatt diesel generator, bow thruster, windlass, cockpit shower with electric grill, and a Bimini top. Bose surround sound in the saloon and a Fusion stereo system complete the yacht's systems.
