2014 Beneteau Gran Turismo 44

The 2014 Beneteau Gran Turismo 44 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruiser built for extended voyages, combining generous accommodations with responsive handling and genuine offshore capability. Twin Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines deliver 740 horsepower, pushing the boat to a cruising speed of 26 knots with a maximum speed of 33 knots. The hull employs Beneteau's Air-Step design, which uses forward-facing steps and air intakes to reduce drag and improve ride quality. Trim tabs and joystick control make maneuvering straightforward, while the Class B offshore rating reflects the boat's ability to handle challenging conditions.

The cockpit is the social heart of the boat, with an aft sun pad, large U-shaped settee to port, and an expandable dining table. The entire aft area lifts electrically to expose garage space for an eight-foot tender. Below, the galley sits to port with a stand-up refrigerator, two-burner stove, curved counter, and double sink. The salon on the starboard side provides additional seating and living space, well-lit and comfortable for the cruising lifestyle.

Two staterooms serve the sleeping arrangements. The aft master includes an en suite head and shower, while a forward guest cabin features an island berth and access to a second head. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning and heating support year-round use.

Recent upgrades include new lower units for the engines and a 2021 Simrad navigation suite. FLIR thermal imaging is aboard. A tender with Mercury outboard is included, and maintenance records are complete and current.
