The 2014 Boston Whaler 240 Dauntless is a 24-foot open-layout sportfish built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 225-horsepower Mercury gasoline engine. The design balances fishing capability with family-friendly accommodation, making it suitable for angling, cruising, watersports, or mixed use on the water.

Seating and storage are arranged across the boat to support both activity and comfort. The layout features bow seating with foldable backrests, a console area, reversible pilot seat, and an aft bench with reclined backrest. A bow cushion is available as an option. Storage is distributed throughout—in the bow, at the console, and under the pilot seat—providing space for gear needed across different boating pursuits.

For fishing, the boat comes standard with a livewell and aft casting deck. Optional configurations include a reversible pilot seat with integrated livewell, pedestal fishing seats, and a trolling motor panel to suit different angling preferences.
