2014 Grand Banks 46 Eastbay SX

The 2014 Grand Banks 46 Eastbay SX is a 50-foot pilothouse motor yacht with a fiberglass hull featuring a fully cored high-density PVC foam core construction. Twin Cummins QSC 600-horsepower diesel engines with Zeus pod drive propulsion deliver a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 29 knots. The vessel carries 500 gallons of fuel capacity and includes a 11.5-kilowatt Onan genset for power generation.

The accommodations comprise two staterooms and two heads. The forward master stateroom features a centerline queen berth with cedar-lined hanging lockers, ample storage, and a private en suite head with a separate shower stall. The guest stateroom to starboard contains twin side-by-side berths and includes a full-length mirror and divided storage locker. The day head serves both as a guest facility and day head, with a teak slatted sole and shower curtain track. The U-shaped galley to port features teak cabinetry, granite countertops, a refrigerator drawer, top-loading freezer, LP range, and stainless steel sink. A spacious utility compartment below the companionway stairs provides additional refrigeration and storage for extended cruising.

The main salon showcases a galley-down design with a bright, open layout. A U-shaped settee to port and straight settee to starboard surround a custom teak table with inlaid compass rose. The aft centerline window opens via powered actuator, creating a seamless connection to the cockpit. Gloss-varnished teak dash, trim, and handrails throughout add traditional appointments. The helm position features a STIDD chair, destroyer wheel, and comprehensive Raymarine electronics including two 12-inch multifunction displays, 4-kilowatt open array radar, and Zeus autopilot and trim tab systems.

Deck systems include a Maxwell VWC 1500 windlass with capstan, seven Lewmar hatches, varnished toe rails, stainless steel handrails and cleats, and two teak dorade boxes with ventilation scoops. The cockpit has fixed canvas bimini, upholstered settees with storage, and courtesy lighting. Additional equipment includes a Freedom hydraulic dinghy lift, Glendinning shore power system with 75 feet of 50-amp cable, 16- and 12-kilowatt air conditioning units, and Fireboy automatic fire suppression in the engine room.
