The Hunt 44 is a raised pilothouse express motoryacht built on the builder's deep-vee hull design, which sits flat and handles rough water predictably. Twin Volvo Penta IPS pod drives deliver 858 horsepower, offering fuel efficiency and agile handling. The pods include joystick docking controls positioned at three stations around the boat, and integrated GPS enables precise position-keeping for docking and station-holding.
The main deck flows seamlessly from the enclosed pilothouse salon through double-wide sliding glass doors to the aft deck lounge, creating one continuous entertainment space. An electric garage built into the transom stores and deploys a tender with outboard on custom rollers, operated by remote. The swim platform features superyacht-style steps on both sides.
Below deck are two cabins and two heads arranged around a galley that opens into the salon above. Storage includes a pantry with dedicated space for laundry and wine accessed behind the companionway stairs. The salon features five electric opening windows, an oversized electric moonroof, and an electric double companion settee with convertible backrest opposite the helm. The aft deck includes refrigeration.
The 44-footer cruises at roughly 27 knots with a top speed around 30 knots. This layout prioritizes comfort and functionality for owner-operation, with no compromises to traditional design aesthetics.
