The 2014 Mako 21 LTS is a bay boat built around the award-winning hull design of the Mako 18, scaled up for anglers who need more space. The boat's 8-foot-4-inch beam delivers exceptional stability both underway and at rest. The Rapid Planing System transom allows the boat to plane with minimal bow rise, a valuable trait in shallow water.
The layout is purpose-built for fishing. The raised bow casting platform sits above the water with non-skid surface, and underneath lies the cast net storage and two dry storage areas. A starboard rod locker keeps tackle organized. The fully molded console includes vertical rod holders and tackle storage, plus a removable forward cooler and fishbox. The cushioned helm seat doubles as a cooler for drinks and food.
The aft section mirrors the bow design with a raised casting deck, two large dry storage compartments, and a 30-gallon aerated livewell fitted with the Pro-Air system. An in-deck hatch provides access to a 1,600-GPH bilge pump. The expansive cockpit allows 360-degree mobility and fishing access from all positions. The hull is foam-filled and quiet, helping anglers approach fish undetected.
The boat is powered by a single 225-horsepower Mercury engine. An aluminum trailer is included. The boat has been kept in a garage since 2014.
