The 2014 Marlow Explorer 66E is a 66-foot composite motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar C-18 diesel engines producing 1150 horsepower each. Built for long-range cruising, the hull features Naiad 252 at-rest stabilizers, a velocijet strut system, and both bow and stern thrusters for precise handling. Navigation and control are managed from a well-equipped bridge with triple Garmin displays, autopilot, Yacht Controller, and FLIR. The boat carries substantial fuel capacity at 3,000 gallons, backed by a 900-gallon-per-day watermaker and twin 21.5kW Onan generators for self-sufficient operation. A 13-foot Boston Whaler tender with 40-horsepower Mercury engine and launching davit are included.
The main salon centers on teak joinery, teak-and-holly sole, and oversized windows. The layout includes an L-shaped settee with storage, dedicated desk, recliners, and a wet bar featuring a SubZero wine cooler and icemaker. The galley and dining area features Black Galaxy granite counters, dual SubZero refrigerator-freezers, Dacor cooktop and oven, and Miele dishwasher, with a large U-shaped dinette providing panoramic views. The command bridge offers twin Stidd helm chairs, aft lounge seating, a wet bar, and day head.
Four staterooms provide accommodation: a full-beam master with king berth and his-and-hers head access including rain shower and cedar closet; a forward VIP with queen berth and en-suite; a port guest cabin with twin berths and head; and a starboard cabin with laundry facilities. Separate crew quarters feature a queen berth and head with private aft access. Finishes include custom bamboo and teak soles, birdseye maple walls, and granite counters throughout. The upper aft deck hosts a full bar with BBQ grill, sink, icemaker, and freezer. The engines underwent major service in November 2020.
