2014 Monterey 224FSX

This 2014 Monterey 224 FSX is a 22.75-foot fiberglass runabout powered by a single MerCruiser 4.3 MPI engine producing 190 horsepower. With 475 engine hours, the boat performs at 40–45 mph in light load and 35–40 mph when fully crewed. The 55-gallon fuel tank supports extended outings on the water.

The boat accommodates family recreation with both swim and beach ladders, an extended swim platform with new GatorStep decking installed in fall 2023, and a lily pad float. The helm features a Fusion stereo with dash and stern controls, separate driver controls, and an aux input at the steering wheel. Below deck, substantial storage includes removable cooler mounts and under-seat compartments. Beach weave flooring and flip-up captain's chair bolsters add functionality to the cockpit layout. The boat carries a full canvas package—Bimini and snap-on covers—along with stainless hand rails, cup holders, and flush-mounted cleats throughout.

Maintenance records show regular service at certified locations. Both trim solenoids were replaced at the end of the 2025 season, and a mechanic evaluation performed during that service confirmed all systems in working order. The docking lights, depthsounder, and swim ladder complete the equipment package.
