This 2014 NauticStar 244 XTS is a 24.5-foot bay boat built for inshore and mild offshore fishing. The fiberglass hull features a shallow-water draft with a sharp-entry deep V forward, supported by planing pods and an air-assist chine for good acceleration and a comfortable ride. The boat has high freeboard and a spacious layout centered around a large casting deck.
Power comes from a Yamaha SHO V-Max 250 hp four-stroke outboard with hydraulic steering and a power jackplate. The engine has 516 hours of operation.
The boat is equipped with a factory fiberglass T-top, 10-foot Power Pole, trim tabs, two tournament livewells with rod storage for up to 28 rods, a bow fishbox, leaning post with Igloo cooler, fishing chair, two folding aft jump seats, and a swim ladder. Electronics include Yamaha gauges, a Garmin GPS/fishfinder, and Bluetooth stereo. An aluminum tandem-axle trailer is included.
