2014 Pursuit S 280 Sport

The 2014 Pursuit S 280 Sport is a 28-foot fiberglass sportfish built for both fishing and general cruising. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Yamaha gasoline engine, the boat combines practical functionality with thoughtful onboard amenities. A hardtop with white powder-coated aluminum frame and integral overhead lighting provides weather protection, while front and side helm canvas curtains offer additional comfort in rough conditions.

The helm station features a split leaning post with flip-up seat and bolsters, fixed armrests, and a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3/iPod compatibility and four speakers. Seating options include a folding aft stern bench with lumbar-support cushions and a split-bow seating area with lockable rod storage and padded reel protectors. The console houses lockable storage and conceals a head compartment with holding tank, pump-out, and macerator.

Fishing-focused features include twin 29-gallon insulated in-deck lockers with pump-out, a tackle center with removable trays, an insulated 45-gallon transom fish box, and an optional 45-gallon recirculating livewell. An Isotherm stainless steel drawer refrigerator and a molded-in 140-quart combination cooler keep provisions accessible. The large raised foredeck has aggressive non-skid surfacing for secure footing during boarding or casting.
