The 2014 Ranger Tugs R-25 SC is a 25-foot fiberglass cruiser built for comfortable coastal cruising and trailering. The hull measures 8.5 feet at the beam, offering a roomy platform enhanced by an aft deck that is 25 percent larger than the original R-25 design, providing nearly 50 square feet of cockpit space. The self-bailing cockpit includes a swim platform accessed via transom door, and the deckhouse roof accommodates storage for items like crab pots or kayaks.
Below deck, the interior accommodates up to five berths across private compartments. The galley is fitted with a sink, stove, and refrigerator. An enclosed head contains a shower, marine toilet, and sink. Large cabin windows and overhead skylight hatches flood the interior with natural light and provide panoramic views. The helm features a complete Volvo instrumentation suite paired with a Garmin navigation package that includes chartplotter, sonar, autopilot, AIS, and VHF radio.
Power comes from a single Volvo D3 diesel inboard engine rated at 150 horsepower, located entirely outside the cabin for quiet operation and fuel efficiency. The engine shows approximately 850 hours. The boat carries bow and stern thrusters, a diesel furnace, and solar panels. Additional equipment includes a Garmin electronics suite, galvanic isolator, tender with davit, and a Rocna 10-kilogram anchor with Mantus chain swivel. The yacht has been undercover moored and carefully maintained.
