This 2014 Ranger Tug R-31 Command Bridge is a 31-foot fiberglass cruiser built for serious Pacific Northwest exploration. The boat centers on a single Volvo D4 diesel engine rated at 300 hp, with only 614 hours of operation, delivering a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. A distinguishing feature is a custom-integrated 25 hp Yamaha outboard mounted on the swim platform, fully integrated into the steering and control systems and operable from any of the three helm stations—the lower salon helm, cockpit station, or elevated command bridge. This secondary engine serves equally well for precise trolling or as a backup propulsion source.
The boat excels for fishing and cruising alike. The aft cockpit includes downrigger bases and electrical connections, a custom pot puller base for crabbing or prawning, and a fold-away Bimini with full canvas and Eisenglass enclosure. Bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote simplify docking and tight maneuvers. The command bridge helm offers panoramic views and seating for relaxation. Inside, the layout comprises two cabins: a forward island queen berth with ensuite electric head, and a guest cabin with a double berth and its own toilet. A convertible dinette serves as additional sleeping space. The galley includes a propane two-burner stove and oven, microwave, and beverage cooler. A diesel furnace provides heating throughout.
Included with the boat are new batteries, a Ranger dinghy with Torquedo electric outboard, full cockpit enclosure, command bridge tonneau cover, and canvas.
