2014 San Juan 41

This 2014 San Juan 41 is a modern downeast-style express built around a carbon and Kevlar composite construction that keeps the boat exceptionally light for its size. Twin Volvo D6 diesel engines produce 740 hp combined and have logged only 460 hours. The boat reaches a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 28 knots, with responsive handling supported by Humphreys-style trim tabs and nimble bow response.

The helm occupies a well-appointed upper station with excellent visibility through a tall windshield and wrap-around glass trimmed in teak. The entire helm and bridge deck area is climate-controlled; a removable rear panel creates a convertible enclosure for seasonal use. Below deck are two cabins and one head. High-end wood finishes and joinery throughout reflect San Juan's traditional craftsmanship extended with improved headroom compared to earlier models.

Recent upgrades include a new Dometic variable-speed HVAC system for the upper helm, a Northern Lights 6kW generator installed within the past 18 months with under 75 hours of use, and fresh refinishing of all exterior teak. The navigation suite features a new Garmin 8616XSV chartplotter with sonar and 36-mile radar, Simrad AP16 autopilot, Standard Horizon VHF radio, and a Ritchie compass. Additional systems include a Seawater Pro 20 GPH water maker, solar panel battery charging, Starlink internet receiver, electric anchor windlass, and full Fusion stereo with JL Audio speakers. Canvas windshield mask and removable aft soft-back are included.
