The 2014 Skeeter 20i is a fiberglass bay boat powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha engine. Built on the proven ZX hull platform, the 20i was the first bass boat certified by the NMMA for maneuverability in its class. The design prioritizes angler comfort and functionality, offering more interior space and better fishability than comparable 20-foot models.
The cockpit centers on a DMS command center with Yamaha multifunction gauges and digital bow panel controls. Seating includes bolstered full-flex sport chairs and an upholstered center seat with removable bottom. Storage spans an integrated rod system with rod staze on the front deck and cockpit, plus a 37-quart ice chest between the driver and passenger seats and an in-floor cooler holding 28 quarts. Additional features include a 48-gallon dual tank fuel system, 12-inch jackplate, and a Fortrex troll motor with 36-volt power and 45-inch shaft.
The livewell operates with independent fill, recirculating and drain modes, plus timer and pump-out functions. Twin bilge pumps—one manual 800 GPH and one auto or manual 1500 GPH—provide redundancy. A 15-amp four-bank battery charger and DMS alarm system with i-Force latch locking round out the electrical setup. The hull incorporates composite construction with a torque transfer transom and stringer system, stretched sponsons without splashwell design, and gas-assisted lifts on storage compartments. Interior and exterior lighting, forced air ventilation, tinted windscreen, and a retractable boarding ladder complete the boat.
