The Spirit of Galatea is a 74-foot wooden sailing yacht built by Spirit Yachts in 2014, combining British craftsmanship with Mediterranean design. Her 125-horsepower Yanmar engine gives her a maximum speed of 9.8 knots and cruising speed of 9 knots, with a range of approximately 800 nautical miles at 8.5 knots. New sails were installed in 2024, paired with precision-engineered Southern Spars rigging for reliable performance under sail.
Below deck, the interior accommodates up to six guests across four cabins served by three heads. The master suite occupies the full beam with an en-suite, two twin guest cabins each with their own en-suite, and a separate crew cabin forward with independent access and en-suite. The main saloon is naturally lit by fan-shaped skylights and features high-quality joinery throughout, with an integrated pop-up television system.
The yacht carries 900 litres of fuel and 1,000 litres of fresh water, supported by an Onan generator. At the time of documentation, the main engine had 1,712 hours of operation and the generator 2,915 hours.
