This 28-foot aluminum pontoon houseboat is built for extended river cruising. Powered by a 50 hp Yamaha outboard installed in 2014 and recently serviced, it cruises comfortably at 10 to 12 mph with a top speed near 13 mph. The boat has logged over 1,000 miles across Florida's waterways, including the St. John's, Kissimmee, and Caloosahatchee rivers, Lake Okeechobee, and the Fort Myers ICW.
The interior centers on an 8-by-10-foot enclosed cabin with aluminum flooring and indoor-outdoor carpet, alongside an 8-by-9-foot covered porch and an 8-by-4-foot partially covered back deck. Recent additions include a 5,000 BTU window air conditioning unit, a futon frame, a mini refrigerator, and a microwave. An inside steering station provides weather-protected piloting. The layout accommodates overnight stays and day trips with multiple people aboard.
Equipped for both cruising and fishing, the boat features 14 exterior rod holders and night-fishing lighting. Shore power connectivity supplies two interior electrical outlets, and included systems comprise two anchors, two batteries roughly one year old, a 12-gallon external fuel tank with three portable 5-gallon cans, a Garmin GPS chartplotter, and a Uniden VHF marine radio. Galley equipment includes a coffee maker and single-burner hot plate, while a portable toilet, solar shower, and multiple storage coolers complete the setup.
A dual-axle trailer with four newer tires and a spare tire is included. The pontoon's shallow draft and standard beam allow it to fit into typical marina slips and approach waterfront destinations easily.
