The 2015 Beneteau Oceanis 35 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for both inshore and offshore work. Its shallow-draft keel and twin rudders support versatile sailing in varied waters. The boat features twin helm stations and a swim platform for easy water access, with fold-up helm seats that stow out of the way. A Yanmar diesel engine of 30 horsepower provides auxiliary power.
The sail plan is extensive and flexible. An in-mast furling system allows quick deployment of a Neil Pryde furling main and jib, while a full traditional sail wardrobe—including a Doyle main, jib, and Code Zero, plus a North Sails A2 spinnaker—supports racing and performance sailing. The boat is rigged with asymmetric spinnaker capability using a Harken bobstay unit and Forespar Velocity carbon fiber whisker pole. Sails were renewed in 2018 and 2019.
Below deck, the layout centers on a V-berth cabin that opens into the salon for a spacious feel; a removable bulkhead allows flexibility in how the space is used. A single head serves the accommodation. Electronics include a chart plotter with autopilot control via remote keypad and WiFi connectivity to mobile devices.
