2015 Corsair Cruze 970 XL

The Corsair Cruze 970 XL is a 31-foot trailerable trimaran built from vacuum-infused fiberglass with PVC foam core and carbon reinforcements at all load-bearing points. At approximately 2.2 tons, the boat combines light weight with a generous sail plan of up to 130 square meters, including a furling jib, mainsail, screecher, and gennaker. The XL rig version features double spreaders and extended sail area. A self-tacking jib enables short-handed sailing, while the Yamaha diesel engine follows the rudder for precise maneuvering. The unique folding system narrows the beam to 2.55 meters for trailer transport, and both centerboard and rudder are retractable for shallow-water anchoring and beaching.

The interior offers full standing height in the saloon and sleeping quarters in both forward and aft cabins, along with a separate head, functional galley, and spacious seating for four in the main cabin. The boat sleeps five overall. An autopilot, heater, and inflatable fenders are fitted. Larger winches provide mechanical advantage for sail handling.

The yacht rides on a reinforced Vlemmix trailer designed for highway towing. The sails are in good condition, and the boat has been stored indoors in heated conditions throughout its life. All equipment necessary for comfortable cruising is included.
