The Edgewater 280CX is a 28-foot dual console built with single-piece infusion construction, delivering a stable, dry ride. Twin Yamaha F300 outboards provide 600 horsepower total, with cruising speed around 30 knots and a maximum speed of 45 knots. The boat combines open-water fishing capability with comfortable cruising accommodations.
The cockpit layout prioritizes both fishing and entertaining. A spacious bow features cushioned seating and cooler storage, while the beam cockpit includes an integrated grill, refrigerator, custom aft-facing seating, and removable cooler. Fishing-specific features include a 28-gallon livewell, 500-quart insulated fishbox with pump-out, 110-quart transom cooler with overboard drain, prep station with tackle storage, transom sink with pull-out freshwater shower, rocket launchers, and gunnel rod holders.
Below deck is a cabin with convertible double berth forward, sink, microwave, and enclosed head. Topside electronics include a Garmin VHF 215 AJS with new antennae, Garmin MDF 8616xsv, and Garmin 943xsv multifunction display. A Garmin GHC 20 autopilot and black oak 24-inch light bar are also installed. The custom multi-position passenger seat was added in 2024. The engines show 1200 hours.
