2015 FinCat 42

The 2015 FinCat 42 is a center console fishing boat with an aluminum hull powered by a single Yamaha 300 hp engine. Built for performance and range, it cruises at 30–35 knots with a top speed of 44 knots and carries 350 gallons of fuel across two 175-gallon tanks.

The layout prioritizes fishing functionality with a large custom fish box and tackle station, custom tackle drawers, a transom-mounted live well, and a 250-quart cooler. Forward seating consists of six Llebroc seats in two rows. A head with freshwater tank is built into the console, and raw water washdown is available.

Electronics are comprehensive: dual Raymarine C125 displays, a Raymarine Axiom unit, a 1 kW chirp sounder, an RV-100 sounder, Quantum HD Doppler radar, autopilot, and satellite weather and radio. Communication includes two Icom VHF radios. Entertainment features a 10-speaker Fusion stereo with JL speakers, while underwater lights are installed for night operation.

The boat comes equipped with a triple-axle aluminum trailer rated for 18,000 pounds.
