2015 Fountaine Pajot SABA 50

The SABA 50 is a 49-foot fiberglass catamaran built by Fountaine Pajot with twin 150-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. The hull combines light weight with ample beam of nearly 28 feet, delivering high-level performance under sail and reliable power cruising. The design emphasizes open, airy spaces throughout—from the light-filled cabins to the generous saloon and cockpit, all appointed with abundant storage. A sunbathing lounge on the foredeck offers a dedicated relaxation area with its own lockers, while an integrated lounge deck aft provides elegant outdoor entertaining space. The layout connects cockpit, helm station, and lounge deck for easy crew movement and communication across the yacht.

Accommodations follow the QUINTET configuration with five double cabins plus one crew cabin and six bathrooms, making the boat well-suited for family cruising or charter operations. The galley features a new cooktop installed in 2022, with a salon freezer, two-drawer refrigerator, and cockpit fridge. Three Dometic electric coolers in the cockpit supplement cooling capacity. Climate control is managed by a Frigo Mar chiller and air conditioning system installed in 2022.

Power and energy systems have been substantially upgraded. A 2023 Victron inverter, battery charger, and MPPT solar controllers work alongside 2000 watts of solar panels and 1120 amp-hour lithium batteries to support extended cruising. A Garmin electronics package from 2020 handles navigation. Recent additions include a new water maker membrane, ice maker membrane, Fusion stereo, and Starlink antenna. New exterior upholstery, white sunshades, and an aft sunshade refresh the outdoor spaces. Underwater lights and an upgraded swim ladder complete the equipment. The yacht also includes snorkeling gear, two paddle boards, and a two-person kayak.
