The 2015 Fountaine Pajot SABA 50 is a 50-foot fiberglass catamaran with a 26-foot beam, built for extended cruising and liveaboard living. Powered by two 150-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines, the yacht combines efficient propulsion with a proven sailing platform. The catamaran layout maximizes interior volume and deck space across both hulls, creating multiple entertaining and relaxation areas with excellent sightlines.
The accommodation plan includes four cabins and four heads. The starboard-side owner's suite is the primary cabin, supported by three guest cabins, each with its own en-suite head. A converted forepeak provides an additional cabin suitable for children. The main saloon features panoramic windows and skylights with strong indoor-outdoor connectivity. The galley is arranged in an L-shape with an island counter and includes a Bosch dishwasher, Miele washer/dryer combination, and substantial refrigeration. The upper deck encompasses a 12.4-square-meter lounge area with sunbeds and seating, while the forward deck offers a large sunbathing platform. The cockpit is oversized with seating for twelve and an extended hardtop protection.
The yacht is equipped for self-sufficient cruising with an 11-kilowatt-hour generator and 1,500 watts of solar panels for power generation, air conditioning throughout, a 900-liter water tank, and a 180-liter-per-hour watermaker. The helm station sits raised with full 360-degree visibility and bimini sun protection. Sail handling is simplified with electric winches. The engines have logged just over 2,000 hours each, and the generator approximately 1,000 hours. A full rigging inspection was completed in November 2024.
