The 2015 Grady-White Freedom 275 is a dual-console fiberglass boat powered by twin Yamaha F200 four-stroke outboards. At 27 feet long and 8.5 feet wide, it combines the capability to run offshore with the manageability for a small crew. The boat reaches speeds of 48 knots and cruises at 32 knots.
Electronics form a comprehensive suite centered on a Garmin GPSMAP 8612 touchscreen display with integrated radar, sonar/fishfinder, and autopilot. The system includes Yamaha Command Link engine integration and NMEA 2000 networking. A Standard Horizon VHF radio rounds out the electronics package. A hardtop with rocket launchers and a full eisenglass enclosure provide weather protection.
The boat is set up for fishing and cruising alike. It has a livewell, fish boxes, transom shower, and an enclosed head. Rod storage runs under the gunwales with multiple rod holders throughout. The cabin includes convertible cockpit seating, a large bow seating area, fold-away aft seating, and abundant storage. Additional features include a windlass anchor system, trim tabs, freshwater system, raw-water washdown, swim ladder, shore power, and courtesy and cockpit lighting.
The Yamaha engines have approximately 900 hours and have been regularly maintained and used. Recent work includes installation of the new Garmin display and transducer, baitwell pump service, washdown and macerator system repairs, and wiper system service. The boat has been stored out of the water and kept to an active maintenance schedule.
