2015 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS

The 2015 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS is a modern sailing yacht developed by Philippe Briand Design and Garroni Designers. Briand's hull design features a streamlined keel and refined appendages engineered for responsive handling and sea performance. Garroni contributed contemporary interior styling and clean exterior lines. The boat carries Bureau Veritas certification, confirming quality and safety standards in both design and build. The 50-foot fiberglass hull measures 14.67 feet at the beam.

The accommodation plan includes two cabins with a full-beam master featuring a floating queen berth, a main cabin with an electrically lowering dining table, and a second stateroom with its own queen berth. Two heads with showers serve the interior. The cockpit is notably spacious with a raised enclosure, supporting both entertaining and practical sailing operations.

Power comes from an 80-horsepower Yanmar 4JH80 diesel engine with 440 hours of service, paired with a 3-blade Flexofold folding propeller. Navigation and monitoring equipment includes Raymarine displays: an I70 for depth, speed, and wind data, a 13-inch hybrid touch E125 plotter, and a 48-mile 4-kilowatt radar. An autopilot, VHF radio with deck microphone, television, Fusion DVD player, and CD radio complete the onboard electronics, with speakers fitted to the cockpit.
