2015 Lagoon 380 S2

The 2015 Lagoon 380 S2 is a 38-foot fiberglass catamaran designed by VPLP, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 58 horsepower each. Built for comfortable cruising, the yacht features a wide 21-foot beam that provides exceptional stability and interior volume. The three-cabin, two-head layout suits extended voyaging or family cruising, with accommodation distributed across both hulls. Twin 58 hp Yammer engines deliver a cruising speed of 7 knots.

The boat has been substantially upgraded with a 1100Ah Lithionics lithium battery bank paired with a Victron Quattro 5000-watt inverter and Mabru DC air conditioning. Equipment includes a watermaker, updated B&G electronics with radar and dual-channel AIS, high-output alternators, and solar panels. Rigging upgrades include dyneema lines and an electric primary winch. The sails comprise a Code Zero foresail and factory hardtop bimini. Propulsion features three-blade folding props.

Accommodations incorporate an induction cooktop, upgraded mattress in the master cabin, and high-end electric flush heads with separate fresh and seawater circuits. Interior and exterior finishes include a custom wood cockpit table and teak cockpit floors. Cockpit amenities include a refrigerator and induction cooking.

The hull received fresh bottom paint and buff-and-wax treatment in June 2026. The design emphasizes efficient handling and sea-kindliness, with a raised helm station for visibility, high bridge deck clearance to minimize wave slapping, and all deck lines led aft for simple sail management.
