2015 Monte Carlo MC5S

The 2015 Monte Carlo MC5S is a 50-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo IPS 600 diesel engines with IPS joystick control. The sedan design features a full upper deck configured for sunbathing and entertaining, with a large sun pad and high-low dining table set against wrap-around seating. The yacht's distinctive retro aesthetic—tulip-shaped bow and round portlights—combines classic styling with modern systems and engineering throughout.

Below deck, the MC5S accommodates three staterooms and two heads. The master suite spans the full beam aft with a 6'8" by 5'1" double berth, dual nightstands, bench seating beneath large portlights, and 6'1" headroom. Forward, the VIP stateroom features a 6'5" by 4' double berth illuminated by four opening portholes and a deck hatch, with 6'4" headroom. The guest stateroom offers two bunks—6'6" by 2'0" and 6'6" by 2'6"—each with opening portlights. The saloon seats six to eight across a U-shaped sofa and foldable table, with a galley featuring a two-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, and ample storage.

Navigation and entertainment systems include dual SIMRAD NSS 12" evo3 displays, VHF radio, radar, autopilot, and full audio-visual wiring throughout the staterooms and saloon. The wheelhouse provides commanding sight lines through one-piece laminated glass with opening side windows and an electrically operated tinted sunroof. Deck equipment includes an electric windlass with remote control, LED courtesy lighting, and a solid teak swim platform with retractable ladder.

Recent service work includes a full engine service on both Volvo units, new pod drives, new batteries, new bottom paint, new exterior canvas, new water pump, new system computer, new head system, and new anodes. The boat is fitted with a 13.5 kVA generator, 2000-watt inverter, and two 650-liter aluminum fuel tanks. A Sea Doo GTR 215 jet ski is included.
