The 2015 Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 86 is an 86-foot motor yacht designed by Nuvolari Lenard, built with advanced composite construction including carbon fiber and Kevlar reinforcement. Twin MAN V12 engines rated at 1900 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed near 29 knots. The wide-body hull maximizes interior volume, offering the scale and presence of a significantly larger yacht while maintaining efficient operation.
Accommodation spans six cabins with six heads. The full-beam master stateroom is positioned amidships and rivals that of much larger yachts. Three additional guest cabins and separate crew quarters aft complete the sleeping arrangements. The main salon is expansive with natural light and flows seamlessly to the aft deck. The oversized flybridge for this class features multiple seating areas and a full helm station, while a private bow lounge provides additional entertaining space forward. A hydraulic swim platform enhances water access and tender handling.
A major refit completed in 2023 included new MAN engines with extended warranties through July 2028, a completely reconditioned exhaust system with new spray heads, new hydraulic lines for all entry doors, balconies, garage and engine room door, and reconditioned propellers. Updated engine displays, boning screens, new varnished cockpit and flybridge tables, a new ice maker, and new lighting throughout all staterooms and heads were installed. New carpet was laid throughout, sofas were refurbished and re-cushioned, and new paint was applied to the garage and engine room door. Service records are available.
