The 2015 Robalo 246 Cayman is a center console bay boat built for both shallow inshore and offshore fishing. Its Extended V-Plane hull is designed to run skinny water and handle open conditions with equal confidence, while the wide deck layout and generous hull flare provide stability and a drier ride. The boat runs on a Yamaha 300-horsepower four-stroke outboard with fly-by-wire control and reaches speeds to 39 knots.
The 246 prioritizes fishing practicality with extensive casting deck space forward and aft, three bait wells (two aft, one forward), and best-in-class rod storage. Hideaway seating converts unused space into working room, and the helm features a Yamaha digital gauge package with ample space for electronics. A Raymarine A78 GPS fishfinder and VHF radio mounted in the hardtop are already installed. The boat includes fishboxes, underwater lights, spreader light, jackplate, and trim tabs.
Accommodations include a forward-entry privacy head with space for a portable toilet, wrap-around bow seating with backrests, and a full cushion package with filler cushion for the bow—all cushions were replaced in 2024. Stainless steel hardware and a poured composite transom with Kevlar reinforcement provide durability. Below the gelcoat, the construction is rot-free composite.
The engine shows 575 hours and received routine maintenance with an impeller replacement in May. A new Fusion stereo with updated speakers was installed in 2024. A two-axle trailer is included. The boat is wax-finished and lift-kept.
