2015 VanDutch 40

The 2015 VanDutch 40 is a 40-foot composite-hulled cruiser built for day-yachting and coastal entertaining. Powered by three Cummins diesel engines producing 960 horsepower combined, the boat cruises in the mid-20 knots with a top speed in the 35–40 knot range. The yacht features bow and stern thrusters for tight-space maneuvering and maintains a stable running attitude in typical West Coast conditions. Engine hours stand at 950.

The open-plan exterior emphasizes social cruising with wraparound lounge seating for over ten people, an oversized aft sunpad, a wet bar with refrigerator and sink, and a teak swim platform. A retractable Bimini top, hydraulic engine hatch, LED cockpit lighting, and underwater lights complete the deck. The JL Audio and Fusion sound system rounds out the entertainment setup. Below deck, the single-cabin interior includes a convertible V-berth with lounge capability, an enclosed head with electric toilet, air conditioning, LED lighting, and storage cabinetry.

Navigation relies on a Simrad GO12XSE chartplotter with updated West Coast charting. The yacht is equipped with a Northern Lights diesel generator running at 502 hours, powering the air conditioning, refrigeration, lighting, and cabin systems. Both the primary engines and generator have been professionally maintained.
