This 2015 Viking 70 Convertible is a diesel-powered sportfishing yacht built on a fiberglass hull. Twin MTU engines producing 5,300 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 35 knots and a maximum speed of 45 knots, making her capable of both serious fishing grounds transit and tournament performance.
The yacht has undergone extensive recent updates. In 2024, the electronics suite received a new Garmin package, the black mask was repainted, JL audio was installed, and interior finishes were refreshed with new upholstery, carpet, and countertops. A bottom job with Prop Speed was completed in early 2025. Additional 2024 work included new cockpit, tower, and brow covers.
Mechanical systems have been upgraded throughout recent years. A new Seakeeper was installed in 2021, along with titanium 4-ton air conditioning chillers, a water heater, and an Electrosea system. The mezzanine A/C compressor was replaced in 2022, as was an ice chipper. Bridge air handlers were renewed in 2023, and a new Furuno Omni Sonar was added the same year. A new Willy Vac and a new ice machine complete the current equipment package.
