The 2015 Wraceboats GP26 is a Jim Donovan-designed racing sloop built by Mag Marin. This 26-foot composite hull is engineered around the ORC rule and delivers strong performance in both one-design and handicap racing formats. The boat works equally well as a weeknight club racer, championship competitor, or fast daysailer, and its compact size and proven design make it manageable for an owner-operator.
The bottom has been professionally prepared by Beasley Marine with a barrier coat and received a fresh application of Black Widow bottom paint in 2025, making the boat ready to race or cruise immediately. Power comes from a 4 hp Yamaha outboard paired with a lithium-ion battery. Navigation and racing electronics include three B&G Triton multifunction displays, a B&G Vulcan chartplotter, and an angle of heel sensor. A shipping cradle is included for transport to distant regattas.
The sail inventory is comprehensive. Race sails consist of a 2022 Quantum carbon mainsail, multiple Quantum jibs and spinnakers from 2018, a Code 0, and a backup 2018 Quantum mainsail. Training sails include a 2023 Quantum dacron mainsail and jib, plus 2016 Evolution sails in similar configurations. The deck is set up for racing with two winch handles, dual spinnaker halyards and tacklines, running backstays, and properly led sheets and controls. Safety gear, including four life jackets, anchor, flares, and first aid kit, is aboard.
