2015 Young Boats Young 24

This 2015 Young Boats Young 24 is a 24-foot fiberglass flats boat powered by a Mercury 300 hp engine with integrated power steering and E-Command gauge upgrades. The hull is finished in British Racing Green with a white shadow interior. The boat rides on a Rolls Axle aluminum dual-axle trailer equipped with stainless steel hardware, pressurized hub seals, disc brakes, and a complete spare tire assembly.

The console features a tall design with a side door and houses upgraded Garmin electronics including a GPS MAP 6212, GSD 24 sounder module, GNX-20 marine instrument display, and a heading sensor paired with an AirMar 600W adjustable transducer. An ICOM M504 VHF radio with 3-foot stainless steel antenna rounds out the communication suite. Battery power comes from three Group 27 deep-cycle units with a dual 3-bank charging system and outlets mounted on the console.

The deck layout includes removable pedestal seats forward and aft, a leaning post with tackle storage for five Plano trays and a pull-out drawer, and integrated gunnel storage. A removable bench seat with fold-down backrest sits amidships. Anchoring is handled by a sea claw system with 200 feet of rope, 7 feet of stainless chain, and associated hardware. A hydraulic 6-inch jack plate and auto-retract trim tabs offer adjustability, while a MinnKota RipTide 112-pound bow mount with wireless remote control and a 12-foot Talon shallow water anchor system provide station-keeping.

Standard features include saltwater and freshwater washdowns with reel storage, a quick-release bimini top with all-stainless upgrades, custom striped cushions, stainless cup holders, a three-step transom ladder, fire extinguishers, and custom-bent L-shaped fenders. The bottom has been treated with three coats of epoxy primer and two coats of Interlux Micron Extra antifouling paint.
