2016 Aquila 44 Yacht

The Aquila 44 is a fiberglass power catamaran built on a design that balances long-distance cruising capability with social entertaining space. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines positioned aft reduce noise and vibration, and the hull features bulbous bows to improve efficiency and reduce pitching. The design emphasizes ease of operation through multifunction displays, digital controls, joystick operation, and engine monitoring. Wide side decks, safety handrails, and a stairway from the flybridge to the foredeck support safe movement around the boat.

The layout includes three staterooms, a salon with 360-degree views, and an extensive flybridge with a summer kitchen. The galley sits strategically between the aft deck and salon, with a window partition and fold-out countertop that creates a service bar for entertaining. The aft deck features an al fresco dinette, and boarding occurs from port or starboard swim platforms. Interior finishes include fitted carpeting in cabins, custom mattresses and sheets, premium upholstery, and custom blinds throughout.

This particular boat is equipped with Volvo D-4 300 engines at 671 hours and a Fischer Panda 12KW generator at 331 hours. Navigation and control systems include Raymarine chart plotter, sounder, radar, autopilot, and VHF radio with command microphone on the bridge. Additional features are a bow thruster, recent full flybridge enclosure with clear panels, air conditioning and heating on the bridge, flybridge grill and refrigerator, wine chiller in the salon, reserve fuel tank, inverter/charger, safe box, and custom stern gates.
