The 2016 Bali 4.5 is a 44-foot fiberglass catamaran with a 24-foot beam, built at the Catana factory. The boat features three cabins and carries a comprehensive suite of modern navigation and safety equipment, including dual Axiom Pro chartplotters, Raymarine autopilot, VHF, AIS, and Quantum 2 radar. The standing rigging, running rigging, sails, and boom are newly replaced as of 2025. Sails include a delta mainsail that was fully serviced in 2025, a self-tacking foresail on a roller furler, and both a Code 0 and Code D on a storage system.
Power comes from two Nanni N4 50 diesel engines, with the port engine replaced in 2022 and carrying 500 hours, while the starboard engine from 2016 shows 1,660 hours. The electrical system was comprehensively upgraded in 2023 and expanded in 2025, featuring a 1,500-watt solar array, a 3,000-watt Mastervolt inverter-charger, gel batteries, dual 150-amp alternators serviced professionally in 2025, and an additional 3,200-watt gasoline generator. Water production includes dual 180-liter-per-hour desalination units installed in 2022 and a carbonated water system with mineral treatment completed in 2025.
The interior accommodates six berths across three cabins and includes three heads with three separate shower compartments. Galley appliances are nearly all new: a combined 8-kilogram washer-dryer, six-place dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, and a new LG American-style refrigerator. A convertible 160-centimeter table, outdoor plancha grill, and Fusion audio system with Bluetooth round out the comfort features. The boat has never been chartered and achieves an average cruising speed of 8.5 knots in 14-knot winds. An inflatable tender with a 15-horsepower Yamaha engine is included.
