The 2016 Beneteau Gran Turismo 49 combines speed and comfort in a 49-foot express cruiser design. Twin Volvo diesel engines producing 870 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 26 knots and top speed of 30 knots. The hull is fiberglass with a 14-foot beam, offering a responsive platform for both open-water cruising and coastal exploration.

The interior arranges three cabins and two heads across a well-appointed layout that balances social spaces with private sleeping quarters. The design emphasizes an open, airy atmosphere throughout, with multiple gathering areas for entertaining. Accommodation details reflect thoughtful yacht design with functional stateroom configurations.

Recent upgrades and maintenance work includes new Simrad EVO electronic screens, replacement toilets and refrigeration, new AC chiller systems, updated exterior cushions, and fresh generator service completed in 2023. Upper gear seals on the pods were replaced that same year, with 1,000 hours of engine service performed. Additional features include a Seaview mast KVH HD7 with upgrade boxes, underwater lights, Samsung televisions, extra head and aft deck lighting, stainless steel anchor upgrade, and battery systems with XM weather capability.
