This 2016 Beneteau Oceanis 38 is a 37.92-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a Yanmar 30 hp diesel engine with a saildrive. The boat has low engine hours at 583 and runs a modern sail plan including an in-mast roller furling main, furling genoa, code 0, and staysail, all managed through Harken primary and secondary winches with Spinlock clutches. Twin helm stations in the cockpit provide exceptional sightlines and easy movement while sailing or maneuvering.
Below deck, the accommodations include two cabins with a queen V berth forward—fitted with a removable bulkhead door for privacy—and a second cabin aft with a large berth and hanging closet. The galley sits to starboard with a two-burner LP cooktop and oven, microwave, stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, and substantial counter space. A separate head and dedicated washroom with shower occupy the lower cabin, while a nav station is positioned near the companionway. Reverse cycle air conditioning with two zones provides 16,000 BTUs of climate control.
The electrical and mechanical systems reflect recent investment. A 400-watt lithium house battery pairs with a 2500-watt inverter, Victron battery monitoring, and a Sterling power surge protector. Electronics include a Garmin B&G Zeus 9-inch chartplotter, autopilot, masthead wind sensor, depth and speed transducers, dual AIS, and an EPIRB. The saildrive was recently removed and professionally serviced with upper seals replaced and pressure checked. A bow thruster, quick anchor windlass, Rocna 20kg anchor, and spare plow-type anchor complete the setup.
Recent upgrades include a new Harken MKIV headsail furling system, Fusion stereo, electric head pump, Victron battery isolator, chain counter, Racor fuel filter separator, and B&G chartplotter. The dodger isenglass was replaced in 2023, and bottom paint was refreshed in May 2026. The gennaker has been inspected and repaired. Access to the water is via a wide swim platform with deployable ladder, and a fixed composite arch with integrated LED lighting spans the cockpit.
