2016 Boston Whaler 285 Conquest

This 2016 Boston Whaler 285 Conquest is a 28-foot walkaround with twin Mercury 250 CXL Verado four-stroke engines rated at 500 total horsepower. The boat reaches 41 knots at top speed and cruises at 30 knots. Power steering, Joystick piloting, Skyhook, and Autoheading come standard, along with VesselView 4 integration. Engine hours stand at 1,350.

The cabin includes one sleeping area and one head. The galley features an electric stove, dockside water system, and water heater. A 7 kilowatt Kohler generator provides onboard power. Air conditioning and heating (7,000 BTU) are installed. The helm is outfitted with a Raymarine multifunction display offering GPS, radar, and sonar, plus a secondary Garmin GPS and sonar system. VHF and Fusion stereo complete the electronics suite.

Recent work includes full engine service, new batteries and charger, solenoid for windlass, and rub rail replacement. A new generator controller and full tune-up were performed. The bottom was stripped and barrier coated. New interior upholstery (10 pieces), removable flooring (5 pieces), and cockpit bolsters were installed by Linhart. Underwater lights, an aft cockpit sunshade, a port-side fold-out bench seat, a helm deck table with Corian countertop, Taco outriggers with new poles, and a television round out the recent additions. The fiberglass hull remains in sound condition.
