This 2016 Catalina 445 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a 54-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The hull form is designed to deliver a gentle, predictable motion underway, while the deck features a low-profile cabin, twin helm stations, and a spacious cockpit with comfortable tall coamings and seating for four to six. Traditional diamond-patterned non-skid covers the deck.
Below deck, the layout comprises an owner's cabin forward with private head access, electric head, and separate shower, plus a guest cabin aft with a large double berth. A flexible third cabin on the port side can serve as additional sleeping quarters, storage, or workspace. The galley is well-appointed for extended cruising and includes an 18-gallon auxiliary fuel tank and a second refrigeration and freezer unit. A 6-kilowatt Fisher Panda generator and 6.5-horsepower bow thruster support onboard systems, while a 2000-watt inverter and charger manage power. Navigation and autopilot systems include a Raymarine es127 chartplotter with full sounder integration, Ev400 autopilot, VHF with AIS, and radar.
The sails include a full-batten mainsail with Selden MDS slide system and single-line reef, along with a jib furler. Deck hardware is upgraded with electric main halyard and mainsheet winches, rigid rail with stainless cover, and a four-blade MaxProp. Canvas additions include a navy dodger with polycarbonate windows and an oversized bimini with connectors and boot.
The boat was owned and maintained by an experienced sailor from new. Engine hours are low and sails show light use. Custom interior soft goods are included: curtains, bedspreads, pillow shams, and decorative covers. The hull is finished with two coats of Interlux Micron Extra ablative paint.
