The 2016 Chris-Craft Catalina 29 is a center console combining Chris-Craft's build quality with the space and sea-keeping of a modern offshore design. Twin Mercury Verado 300 engines with digital throttle and shift deliver strong acceleration and cruising capability. The boat is equipped with joystick control featuring Skyhook, power-assisted hydraulic steering, and trim tabs with indicator. Navigation electronics include dual Garmin 8612xsv chartplotters networked via NMEA 2000, Garmin VHF radio, and radar.
The open layout offers abundant seating and clear sightlines throughout. The helm features captain's chairs with fold-down armrests, bolsters, a teak footrest, and an integrated refrigerator. The cockpit includes port and starboard fishboxes, undergunnel rod storage, a transom bench seat with aft-facing teak table, and center and bow table mounts. A double-wide forward console seat and forward bow seating with underseat storage provide flexibility for crew and passengers. A finished head compartment is built into the forward section.
Deck elements include teak on the swim platform, topside, and foredeck, with additional teak trim on various surfaces. A Weblon t-top with extendable aft sunshade and spreader light provides sun and weather protection. JL Audio cockpit speakers, a windlass anchor, dive ladder, and cockpit and docking lights round out the equipment. Bottom paint is applied. Engine hours are logged at less than 500 hours.
