2016 Cobalt R30

The 2016 Cobalt R30 is a 31-foot open-bow bowrider powered by twin Volvo Penta engines delivering 700 horsepower. Built with Cobalt's "Free Space Reclamation" design philosophy, the boat maximizes usable cockpit and seating areas while maintaining extensive storage throughout. The R30 is the largest in Cobalt's BR Series and features an electric swim platform that lowers nearly flush with the water surface.

Seating and gathering spaces are flexible and abundant. The cockpit layout converts between lounge configurations—seats move forward or aft—and can be transformed into a couch arrangement with filler cushions. A teak-trimmed table serves as a focal point for socializing. The expansive sun pad aft accommodates four people. A head compartment with changing room functionality is located on the port side.

The helm station is designed with a glass cockpit layout offering clear sightlines, and Garmin screens display navigation and system information. Optional joystick control simplifies maneuvering. The boat's fiberglass hull is constructed to deliver the ride quality Cobalt is known for, combined with the open-air comfort of a day cruiser built for extended time on the water.
