2016 Cobia 296 Center Console

The 2016 Cobia 296 Center Console is a 29-foot fiberglass fishing boat powered by twin Yamaha 300 engines. Built to handle rough conditions, it features a spacious cockpit designed around serious fishing capability, with twin 28-gallon livewells, two in-deck 64-inch macerated fishboxes, and tackle storage integrated into the leaning post and console. Additional insulated boxes at the tackle station keep bait fresh and ready.

The deck layout prioritizes 360-degree fish-fighting maneuverability, with recessed hardware, a level running surface from bow to stern, and a full step-down console with forward access. Topside, an optional hard top with two-tone finish includes molded-in speaker pods and three-hued LED lighting, along with spreader lights. Seating for eleven is upholstered in soft, elegant appointments, with flip-down aft seating providing flexible cockpit configuration.

The boat is outfitted with dual Garmin 7612 chartplotters, a Garmin VHF radio, windlass anchor system, trim tabs, and a Fusion stereo. Sea Deck non-slip decking covers key areas. The twin Yamaha engines had 635 hours at last report and underwent annual service in May 2026.
