2016 Cobia 296 Center Console

This 2016 Cobia 296 is a 30-foot center console powered by twin Yamaha F300 engines with 650 hours on the clock. The fiberglass hull measures 10 feet across the beam, delivering a stable platform for offshore and coastal fishing or cruising.

The boat carries modern navigation and control systems including twin Simrad 12-inch touchscreen GPS/chartplotters, a Simrad VHF radio, Yamaha Digital Command Link gauges, and Optimus steering for responsive handling. An autopilot pump supports extended cruising. An electric bow table, recessed Lewmar anchor windlass with stainless steel plow anchor, and fresh and raw water washdowns support practical use. Two transom livewells, Rupp outriggers, and a new three-sided enclosure with side wings provide fishing-friendly features and weather protection.

Accommodations include an electric head in the console. Interior upgrades feature a JL Audio sound system. The helm area has custom covers for the helm and helm seats.

Recent maintenance completed in June 2025 included a full service, bottom paint, detail, and installation of new Simrad GPS units and autopilot pump. New Lenco auto trim tabs were installed for performance optimization. Four Interstate starting and house batteries were replaced in November 2024.
