2016 Competition 25

This 2016 Competition 25 is a center console built for serious fishing. Twin Yamaha 200 engines power the boat to a top speed of 50 knots, with a cruising speed of 32 knots at excellent fuel efficiency of 1.9 to 2.0 MPG. The engines have logged 767 hours.

The boat carries substantial electronics for offshore work: a Garmin 7610 GPS, 24-inch radar, depth sounder rated to 2,000 feet, and VHF radio. A stereo system with six speakers and amplifier is installed. The layout includes a large hard top with full isinglass enclosure and side wings, a full-length rear bench seat, rod holders totaling 28 positions (14 on the gunnels, 14 on the center console and T-top), and two swivel rod holders angled at zero degrees. A coffin box, rear transom live well, and both fresh water and salt water wash-down systems (30-gallon capacity) support extended trips.

Onboard amenities include three batteries, two electrical plugs, and a canvas cover. The boat rides on a tandem trailer that has received new brakes, actuator, hubs, and includes a spare tire.
