The 2016 Cutwater 28 is a diesel-powered cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with a single 260-horsepower Volvo Penta D4 engine. The design combines a spacious cockpit with practical cruising capability, featuring the distinctive Cutwater hull form optimized for fuel efficiency and range. Bow and stern thrusters are fitted as standard, and the boat is trailerable for convenient access to different waterways.
The forward stateroom centers on a convertible V-berth, private head with shower, and television. Depending on configuration, the space includes either a mini-galley or a bench seat with storage. The self-bailing cockpit spans nearly 16 square feet of deck area and includes built-in cabinets, reversible transom seating, and flip-out seating along the port and starboard sides. A solid gate provides access to a custom transom platform with an integral boarding ladder, serving watersports, tender launching, or dock access equally well.
The engine has been serviced and the bottom freshly painted, with the boat ready for the boating season.
