The 2016 Everglades 243 is a 24-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 300-horsepower Yamaha engine, reaching speeds up to 49 knots and cruising at 32 knots. The boat is purpose-built for fishing, with a 36-gallon circulating livewell, 75-gallon in-floor fish box, eight rod holders, and twin tackle lockers integrated into the layout.
The hardtop features overhead life jacket storage, blue and white LED lighting with spreader lights, and built-in speakers. The console includes Everglades' patented sliding windshield and a helm seat combined with a leaning post that has an integrated folding footrest. The design incorporates trim tab indicators, electronics space, and a stereo remote with four mini speakers.
The boat accommodates an optional second helm station with a sliding fiberglass sun roof and three-position helm seat, allowing flexible fishing configurations. Additional options for trolling motors, Power Pole systems, and outriggers can be added to suit individual fishing needs.
