2016 Hanse 455

The Hanse 455 is a 45-foot sailing yacht built on refined German engineering principles. Her hull combines solid fiberglass laminate with a vinylester outer layer for osmosis resistance, while a structural fiberglass grid and carbon-reinforced bulkheads create exceptional stiffness without internal compression posts. The balsa-cored deck reduces weight and lowers center of gravity. The result is a yacht lighter and stiffer than typical production competitors, with a responsive helm and stable motion underway. A Volvo diesel engine of 75 horsepower provides auxiliary power.

The interior accommodates six across three cabins and two heads. The layout centers on a spacious saloon flooded with natural light, complemented by a galley and bright, airy accommodations throughout. Twin helm stations forward allow confident sailing by couples or solo skippers, while the self-tacking jib and all running lines led aft simplify handling. The cockpit offers ample room to relax while underway.
