The 2016 Hatteras GT63 is a 63-foot sportfish with twin MTU diesel engines delivering 3,800 horsepower combined. Built in fiberglass with a 20-foot beam, this boat runs on exceptionally low hours—fewer than 390 on the main engines and under 1,400 on the two 21.5kW generators. The yacht is equipped with trim tabs and carries a Nautical Structures 2200-pound davit with telescoping hydraulic rotation, an eight-person open-sea ISO canister life raft, spare propellers, and comprehensive Garmin navigation.
The four-cabin layout includes three heads and accommodates extended cruising. Below deck are two Dometic sea-water exchangers, a two-person BROWNIES dive compressor, and generator power for onboard systems. Interior soft walls were renewed in January 2025, along with new bedding and automated window blinds in the salon. Engine room and interior received full detailing in December 2024.
The cockpit is designed for serious fishing, featuring spacious fish boxes, a large transom live-well, electric outlets throughout, misting system, and refrigerated mezzanine seating. Helm chairs are STIDD marine spec. Underwater lighting and pro-series fittings round out the setup.
Recent maintenance includes engine and generator service completed in December 2024, new nonskid applied throughout the same month, and bottom paint with prop-speed in December 2025. A complete detailing and compound wash were performed in December 2025.
