The 2016 Jeanneau 54 is a 54-foot sailing yacht with a fiberglass hull and moderate draft of 5'9", designed for comfortable coastal and offshore cruising. Built on Philippe Briand's lightweight, chined hull design paired with Andrew Winch's interior ergonomics, the boat combines seaworthy handling with thoughtful day-sailing features—sail controls are positioned forward of the helm for single or two-person operation, and the expansive cockpit with teak sole and seats provides comfortable space for crew during maneuvers.
The boat is configured with four cabins and four heads. The forward master stateroom features a centerline queen berth and ensuite head with separate shower. The port-side aft VIP cabin offers a double berth with private head and shower. A starboard aft cabin with twin or double berth accesses the port-side head. Below decks, the accommodations include a full-size refrigerator with drawer freezer, separate cockpit fridge, Miele dishwasher, and Splendide combo washer/dryer. A Yanmar 80 hp diesel engine with folding prop and sail drive provides quiet, reliable power for motoring, supported by a 7.5 kw Onan generator and Sea Recovery 28 gph watermaker.
Deck equipment includes a bow thruster with new display control, electrically operated fold-down swim platform, telescoping davits rated for 265 pounds, and a tender package with 8-foot inflatable boat and 9 hp Mercury outboard. Shade is provided by a new bimini top, dodger, connector with cover, and foredeck lounging cushions with small folding bimini. New North Sails were installed in November 2023—3DI furling main, furling jib, and asymmetric spinaker. Navigation and autopilot systems are new Garmin electronics with new chain counter. Air conditioning provides four-zone climate control at 3800 BTU capacity. Underwater lights and a varnished teak folding cockpit table complete the setup. The hull grounding plates were replaced during a bottom job in early 2025. The boat experienced a lightning strike in May 2023, followed by complete inspection of the engine, rigging, hull, and electrical systems.
