This 2016 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 is a 41-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built on the proven Sun Odyssey platform. Powered by a 40 hp Yanmar 3JH5-E diesel engine with sail-drive motorized propulsion and equipped with a three-blade folding propeller, it handles easily under power. A bow thruster aids maneuvering in tight spaces.
The layout includes three cabins with a master suite, two heads, and a convertible saloon. The teak cockpit features a bathing platform with ladder, sprayhood, bimini, and integrated cushioning and table. Below deck, accommodations include a stove with oven, water heating system, refrigerator, and shore power compatibility.
The sail plan centers on a semi-battened mainsail (replaced in 2024) with a third reef, paired with a genoa furling system. A gennaker was added in 2022, and the genoa features 106% Mylar taffeta sails also from 2022. Custom performance mainsails and lazy bag system support versatile sailing. An electric windlass, anchor with 100 meters of chain, and motorized winches manage ground tackle and sail handling.
Navigation and safety systems include GPS, plotter, VHF, autopilot, wind vane, anemometer, and depth sounder. Power management combines solar panels, a wind turbine, battery charger, and WEBASTO heating. The hull received new antifouling in 2025. A cockpit shower and comprehensive lighting round out the equipment package.
