2016 Malibu Wakesetter 20 VTX

The 2016 Malibu Wakesetter 20 VTX is a 20-foot fiberglass ski and wake boat powered by a single 410-horsepower Monsoon engine. Built as a crossover design, this boat handles wakeboarding, surfing, and waterskiing with a removable center pylon that optimizes skiing performance. The T-Cut Diamond hull was engineered to produce tournament-quality slalom wakes.

The boat's ballast system offers versatility for different water sports. It includes up to 1,250 pounds of hard-tank ballast, 1,100 pounds of plug-and-play ballast, and a hydraulic Power Wedge II capable of adding 1,500 more pounds. A Surf Gate system creates adjustable wake patterns, controlled through a dual-touchscreen Command Center that manages ballast distribution and wedge positioning with simple controls.

The cockpit accommodates up to 11 people and is among the largest in its class, with an 8.2-foot beam. At 20 feet long, the boat fits standard garage dimensions, making it practical for storage and towing while retaining the features needed for serious water sports.
